Description
This 5″ flex auger complete drive kit is a fully assembled drive package designed to power up to 150 feet of 5‑inch flex auger. The kit includes all major components required at the drive end of a flex auger system, making it an ideal replacement or refurbishment option for grain handling setups.
The assembly is powered by a 1.5 HP, single‑phase, 230‑volt electric motor, coupled to a gear reducer that provides the correct torque and output speed for efficient auger operation. Also included are the electrical control box, spindle, tube anchor, and discharge spout, offering a true turnkey drive solution.
This unit is used and shows clear signs of prior service. The pressure switch membrane is missing, and several components show dirt buildup, paint wear, scuffs, and surface rust—particularly on internal steel parts and fasteners. Despite cosmetic and wear-related issues, the core components remain intact and suitable for repair, rebuilding, or cost‑effective reuse where a complete drive assembly is required.
