Description
This Lambton belt guard is a heavy‑duty galvanized steel safety guard designed to fully enclose belt and pulley drives on Lambton grain handling equipment. Its purpose is to protect operators from moving components while allowing adequate airflow through the guard to prevent heat buildup.
The guard is constructed from formed perforated galvanized steel, providing both strength and ventilation. Reinforced edges and multiple bolt points around the perimeter allow secure mounting to the equipment frame. The contoured lower opening accommodates shaft and belt exit points while maintaining coverage around exposed drives.
This unit measures approximately 52 inches long by 23 inches wide, making it suitable for larger belt‑drive assemblies commonly found on Lambton systems such as elevators, conveyors, or augers.
The guard is used and shows normal cosmetic wear, including surface scuffs, minor oxidation, and handling marks consistent with prior installation. Structurally, it remains straight, intact, and serviceable—ideal as a replacement safety guard or retrofit component.
